Today as I was passing a Honda Civic hybrid, it's driver rolled down the window and tossed out a plastic bag.

Two weeks from now I'll be sitting on a balcony looking over Mar Caribe with a warm tropical breeze in my face and a cold glass of tequila in my hand. Two weeks from now. Don't be a hater.

Had a new guy start today. So far so good. Funny how a guy I hired with hopes that he could someday take my place has actually renewed my interest in my job.

I hope this renewed interest in my vocation doesn't adversely affect my fantasy baseball team. I'm counting on you to keep me focused on what's important.

The boy and I spent the weekend on the lake. Good times. Made me reconsider my plan to sell that boat. Maybe I'd better hang on to her. If I do, which I probably will, I'm going to move to a new marina. Been at the same one for four years. A change of scenery is in order.

Have I ever told y'all what awesome things my sperm can do? That boy of mine. He's something else. I don't have the words to do him justice. Best I can tell it's just the truest of all the true loves.

I grew the beard back out and about 68% of the reason why is that I didn't want to change the description on this blog.

Tonight I'm going to make a mess of margaritas and toast Mexican independence and cook their kind of food. If you don't wish to be there it's only out of ignorance so I forgive you.

It wasn't so hot yesterday. Just a really pretty day. Sunny and about 78. After golfing I decided to enjoy the rest of that perfect spring day on my boat. Reading. Like drinking and screwing and I guess most everything else I can think of, reading is more enjoyable on a boat. As I prepared to do this I decided there was no need for sunscreen because it wasn't so hot and I was only going to be out there for an hour or so and it would do me some good to get a little bit of sun on my pale whiteness especially since I'm planning on taking the boy on a beachy vacation in a couple weeks. I've never been more wrong about anything.

The only thing that stays the same is everything changes.

Time spent blogging is time well wasted.

Yesterday I purchased $400 worth of gasoline for a boat.

Damn.

99% of my internet time is now consumed managing my fantasy baseball team.

Perhaps I shouldn't be so competitive.

The boy is having some trouble with a bully. I'm not sure what to do. We'll figure something out.
